Accounting Specialist / Senior Accountant (m/f/d) To strengthen our finance team, we are looking for an experienced professional in financial accounting and bookkeeping on a full-time basis.

The position is deliberately broad in scope and combines traditional

financial accounting

with hands‑on involvement in

day‑to‑day bookkeeping . In addition to working on financial statements and technical topics, you will also take on concrete tasks in daily operations and support the team across a wide range of responsibilities.

This newly created role sustainably expands our team and offers the opportunity to take ownership of independent areas, help shape processes, and further develop your professional expertise.

Your Responsibilities

Independently carry out and review the ongoing bookkeeping of several companies, including active involvement in daily operations (posting entries, account reconciliations, payment transactions)

Set up and manage an automated dunning process in SAP, including receivables management and ongoing open item administration

Take responsibility for defined tasks in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UGB (Austrian Commercial Code)

Reconcile general and sub‑ledgers as well as perform intercompany reconciliations and allocations, including transfer pricing topics

Participate in internal and external audits

Support selected specialized topics in accounting, such as project controlling for research projects, fixed asset accounting, and inventory valuation

Further develop and optimise accounting processes and help shape efficient workflows in an SAP S/4HANA environment

Your Profile

Completed certification as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) and several years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a manufacturing company

Solid, several years of practical experience with SAP (preferably S/4HANA)

Very good knowledge of day‑to‑day bookkeeping and financial statements preparation under UGB

Independent, structured, and accurate working style

High level of initiative, sense of responsibility, and team spirit

Enjoy combining operational tasks with technical topics and helping to shape new areas of responsibility
