In order to strengthen our Containerboard IT team in Pitten, we are looking for a 

Business Application Developer

(Oracle Forms / Oracle DB) (m/f/d)

YOU WILL.

Main tasks

Develop, maintain, support, and gradually modernize business-critical applications based on Oracle Forms, Oracle Database, and PL/SQL Work with legacy and complex application environments and contribute to reliable, sustainable technical solutions Take over knowledge from an experienced senior developer in a structured and efficient way Analyze business requirements and translate them into practical application enhancements and fixes Troubleshoot existing applications, resolve issues, and support stable day-to-day operations Create and maintain clear technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials Use modern development tools, including AI-supported tools where beneficial

Requirements

Solid experience in Oracle Forms development, supported by good knowledge of Oracle Database and PL/SQL Experience with Oracle Reports and/or Oracle APEX is an advantage Familiarity with tools such as Git, Redmine, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code is a plus Experience working with business-critical, legacy, or otherwise complex application environments Ability to ask the right questions, structure information, document clearly, and build knowledge independently Strong ownership mindset, business maturity, and willingness to take responsibility beyond pure coding Collaborative, respectful, and reliable way of working; English required and EU / Austrian work authorization required
