Haag am Hausruck, AustriaThis is a unique opportunity to join Haag during a major transformation into a dedicated pet food manufacturing site. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in shaping quality and pet food safety standards, driving site conversion activities and influencing strategic business decisions as a member of the Site Leadership Team.**Your key responsibilities:*** Responsibility for managing the Quality Management System (QMS) and Pet Food Safety system, ensuring compliance with FSSC22000, GMP+, and internal standards.* Leading pet food transformation activities, including risk assessments, validations, cleaning validation, zoning, and segregation strategies.* Chairing the HACCP team and continuously analyzing and updating food safety hazards arising from new product flows and raw materials.* Responsibility for Quality within Management of Change and product transfer projects, ensuring safe and compliant implementation.* Ensuring supplier and raw material quality through oversight of approval processes, monitoring, and management of pet food safety risks.* Responsibility for non-conformance management, audits, CAPA, and customer complaints, as well as ensuring compliance readiness, developing quality culture and KPIs, and supporting site budget and investment activities.* Leading and developing one direct report within the Quality function.**We offer:*** Work in a global and innovative company environment at dsm-firmenich* Close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams* Hands-on involvement in product development and laboratory processes* Strong focus on quality, safety and sustainability in daily work* Type of employment: Full time for 38,5 hours / week, unlimited contract* We offer a gross annual salary of€68.000 plus bonus, with the possibility of overpayment depending on qualifications and experience.**You bring:*** MSc/BSc in Food Science, Chemistry, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field.* 5–10 years of experience in quality within food, feed, or pet food industries.* Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.* Strong knowledge of FSSC22000, GMP+ and HACCP systems.* Experience in site transformation or brownfield projects highly preferred.* Strong competencies in quality and pet food safety systems and leading in complex and dynamic environments with an analytical and data-driven approach.**About dsm-firmenich**At dsm-firmenich, we don’t just meet expectations – we go beyond them.Join our global team powered by science, creativity, and a shared purpose: to bring progress to life.From elevating health to making fortified food and sustainable skincare, the impact ofyour work here will be felt by millions – every single day.
