As the Head of this new centre, you will set the vision, establish operational excellence, and create a high‑performing, customer‑focused organisation that becomes a benchmark for ATS training in the region.If you are a seasoned aviation leader with a passion for people, performance, and partnership, this role offers the scope, autonomy, and impact expected at a senior level.The OpportunityAs Air Traffic Services Training Centre Leader – Europe, you will have full accountability for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of year‑round ATS training centre in Vienna and then later across Europe. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure regulatory excellence, deliver outstanding customer outcomes, and drive sustainable financial performance, while working closely with commercial and regional stakeholders to support growth and standardisation.This is both a strategic and hands‑on leadership role, combining operational oversight with long‑term development of people, capability, and customer relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership for ATS Training Centre operations, delivering operational, financial, and quality objectivesEnsure full compliance with all regulatory authorities, certifications, and internal policiesBuild and sustain strong, customer‑centric relationships, delivering an exceptional training experienceLead, develop, and inspire a diverse team of instructors, technicians, and support staff of around 20 persons, set to grow over timeOwn budget planning, cost control, and financial performanceDrive continuous improvement, standardisation, and operational efficiency across the European networkActively support sales and business development, leveraging operational credibility and customer engagementPartner closely with HR, Finance, IT, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to enable growth and scalabilityAbout YouYou are a confident, credible leader with deep experience in aviation or aerospace operations and a proven ability to manage complex, regulated environments.You bring:A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation, Education, or a related discipline10+ years’ experience within the aviation or aerospace sectorExperience in training operations (highly desirable)Strong, authentic people leadership skills with a track record of building engaged, high‑performing teamsDemonstrated success managing complex operations and multidisciplinary stakeholdersCommercial and financial acumen, including budget ownership and performance managementExcellent communication and relationship‑building skills at senior stakeholder levelFamiliarity with training technologies and Learning Management Systems (an advantage)Fluency in English; additional European languages are a strong plusTravelThis role requires 30–40% travel within Europe, with occasional international travel as the network grows.Why Join Us?This is more than an operational leadership role—it’s a chance to shape the future of ATC training in Europe at CAE , and help us build a new organisation with scale and influence, and leaving a lasting legacy in a critical area of aviation safety and excellence.About CAEPosition Type RegularEqual Opportunity & AccommodationsData Privacy
