Being one of Adelaide's premier liquor outlets, The Highway is the market leader in great wine, craft beer and small batch spirits whilst also catering to one of the busiest Drive through outlets in the state. We operate on a 7-day roster including day, afternoon/evening and night shifts. Retail Operations Manager - Working alongside the Bottleshop Manager, Assistant Manager and Wine Specialist, the Operations Manager will complete a management team of four leading a team of 20+ casual staff. Day to day tasks include: driving high customer service standards, training and management of staff, reviewing/improving the store layout and product range as well as assisting with stock control and inventory management in both the in-store and online arms of the business.The successful applicant must have great customer service and manners, as well as being able to work hard and be a team player in what can be a physically demanding environment. Experience in a comparable retail role is preferred, such as a bottleshop, hotel, bar, restaurant, cellar door etc, however we are willing to‘employ the person’.RSA required, forklift licence an advantage.
