About the Opportunity This is a key leadership role within the Planning, Development and Delivery function, offering the opportunity to lead a small team while remaining hands‑on in the delivery of complex, high-value projects.

You will play a critical role in shaping and delivering Adelaide Airport’s capital program, ensuring outcomes are achieved across safety, quality, cost, and program.

Key responsibilities

Leading and developing a small project delivery team to drive best‑practice outcomes

Managing end‑to‑end delivery of major capital works projects to achieve agreed scope, quality, program, and budget objectives

Supporting the Head of Project Delivery and Directors in the development of procurement strategies and portfolio/program delivery frameworks

Contributing to the establishment and ongoing improvement of the PMO and broader continuous improvement initiatives

About You You are an experienced Senior Project Manager (or highly capable Project Manager) with a background in commercial construction, logistics, infrastructure, or other complex operational environments.

You bring a strong blend of technical delivery capability, strategic thinking, and leadership, with a proven track record of successfully delivering major projects in live or operational environments.

You will bring

Proven ability to lead, coordinate, and mentor both internal teams and external consultants/contractors

Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse groups

High‑level technical project management capability with experience delivering complex capital projects

A proactive leadership style– you take ownership, lead by example, and contribute positively to team culture and performance
