Add expected salary to your profile for insights Senior Associate / Special Counsel Experienced Personal Injury Lawyer Bowes Legal | Central Queensland / SEQ | Full-time Rockhampton - Brisbane - Remote - Hybrid We’re looking for an experienced personal injury lawyer who can run matters, make decisions and deliver outcomes.This role suits someone who is confident taking ownership of their files and bringing sound judgment to complex matters - not someone looking to follow a template. While our preference is for the successful candidate to be based in Rockhampton, we are open to applicants across Central Queensland and South East Queensland.For remote arrangements, regular travel to our Rockhampton office will be required. About the Role You will have conduct of files across: Public Liability (PIPA) Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA) TPD claims Litigation Costs Disputes The role will involve: Take and convert enquiries Litigation - we don't settle unless it is best for our clientsBrief experts and counsel Attend conferences and mediations Ideally have (or be building) trial experience The Work Our practice is heavily rooted in Central Queensland and mining-related claims, which means: Complex liability issues Work that is genuinely challenging and genuinely rewardingThis is not a volume practice. It’s substantive litigation with real stakes. About You You will: Have strong experience in plaintiff personal injury law (Senior Associate level preferred) Be comfortable running files independently Exercise sound judgment and take ownership of outcomes Understand litigation strategy - not just processBuild strong client relationships and manage expectations Take feedback as an opportunity to improve We value accountability and direct communication.
