General Manager, Residential Care

to lead LHG’s flagship residential aged care facility at Fullarton. Reporting to the Group General Manager, Residential Care, the role is responsible for overall leadership, performance and day-to-day operations of the site. Leading a large multidisciplinary team, this position combines strategic leadership,strong clinical governance, commercial acumen and a focus on building team capability to deliver high quality care and service outcomes. Key responsibilities include:providing strategic and operational leadership across the Fullarton site, ensuring high quality, person-centred care and service delivery; leading and supporting a large clinical and operational team, building capability, engagement and a strong team culture; ensuring robust clinical governance and compliance with aged care standards, legislation and accreditation requirements;driving financial performance, occupancy and funding optimisation through strong commercial and operational management; leading continuous improvement initiatives, including contributing to future site development and uplift; building strong relationships with residents, families, staff and key stakeholders to enhance experience and outcomes.The successful candidate will bring substantial leadership experience in residential aged care or a comparable healthcare environment, ideally with a current Registered Nurse qualification. You will demonstrate strong clinical governance credibility, commercial acumen with proven people and team leadership experience. A visible, values-led leader with a track record in developing emerging talent, you will bring highly developed communication, collaboration and change leadership skills, with an understanding of the issues impacting older people.This is a compelling opportunity to lead a flagship site within a contemporary, growing organisation investing in its people and future.
